Journalists Under Siege in Lebanon

That's a title that brings back memories of the dark old days in the 1980s when Western journalists were taken hostage and sometimes killed. But this program on al-Jazeera (English) is on the challenge Lebanese journalists currently face when reporting from within a highly-sectarian environment. Abu Muqawama has some sympathy, but maybe it would help if news anchors weren't caught expressing joy at the latest assassination on the air -- or at least made sure their microphones are off first. Abu Muqawama can't believe this journalist from al-Jazeera reported this story without also mentioning this.
