I am reading this book
and really enjoying it. If you are in DC tomorrow (Wednesday), you might want to consider stopping by the American Enterprise Institute at 1600 to listen to Pete Mansoor talk about his time in Iraq with Fred Kagan. Update: Just returned from a beer with Phil Carter to this email, from a friend of mine: "Ex, Mansoor event was good. Liked what he had to say, especially on military contractors ... But, sandwiched between (no joke) Wolfowitz and Bill Kristol, I thought my head was gonna explode ... AEI makes me queasy."
