The Democrats used consent decree in our school districts to push an agenda. All the best schools are now in the poorest areas. If you want your child to go to a Magnet school, they HAVE to be bussed. These are areas were single women have more children to maximize their social benefits. They will not marry the fathers of the children because that will cut their welfare and medicaid. I know of one that does this, my own niece, she has been knocked up by three different men producing three seperate children and lives on welfare. The man she lives with now, she will not marry. The family managed to get her tubes tied. I went to bat for my niece. She got her self in trouble on a car that she could not afford. I went to a local car lot of a dealership that I know the owner, I put her behind a four door sedan that would fit her familiy perfectly. The loan was set up to be affordable, to help repair her bad credit. The dealership friend knew what we were trying to do and was helping. In less than a month, I found out my niece's mother took over the sedan loan and now my niece has a brand new vehicle that she can not afford. My sister is being bankrupted after bankrolling my niece, I think the light of day is starting to make it through. My niece broke it off in me and now I support her everytime I pay for her food stamps when I pay my taxes. I was driving through that area of town one day. Next to Federal housing. This is the history.......Federal government build nice apartments, the people trashed them. Residents BBQ'ed in their bath tubs. The place was torn down. New apartments had security locks, all brand new buildings. The people trashed them. Ripped the copper out of the walls and used the sheet rock to cook their crack. The place was torn down. Now they have individual homes, not apartments. On that day I was driving through, I was behind a school bus. Figured the unloading would not take long. I waited, then waited some more, then some more. I began to wonder, then the bus pulled away and left behind a sea of children at that one stop, all the same age. It took me a while to figure it out. Sh*t has to stop.
If you want a good job as a teacher, in the best schools in this town ,you have to work in the poorest areas. Just bring your own security team to get to the building. The gangs are out of Chicago......The come here and rob local people at knife point and the next day, the stolen credit cards are being used in Chicago. Local members were stopped on the highway, out of Chicago, a local law enforcement officer was killed. The Chicago kids are crying they can not get a fair trial in this area.

Recently the teacher's Union pushed a 1% sales tax. The issue was brough to a vote in a major election year. The people voted the tax increase down. Because of their bargaining position, the teacher organizations got the measure put on the next ballot , two months later, which was a much smaller election and the teacher's organization got their way by pushing their majority in the expected smaller electrate, the 1% tax increase is law. The money is only used at the Magnet schools in the poor neighborhoods.
My local Democat tax assessor had words. My home was valued by him at the peak of housing values, every year since he has assessed my house higher 5+% each and every year. Inflation and home values do not support the price increased so I appealed with compariables. The tax assessor came back at me with his own compariables to justify his numbers. When I pointed out that each compariable that the assessor selected had features above and beyond the features of my home, he told me to sue him.........I told him to go fuck himself.
How many times does a person have to vote NO. Where is the fairness in the tax assessment considering the run up in home values and their decline.
Local Democrats had their own little election. Less than 100 people showed up to vote. Local county clerk figures each vote cost the county $140 dollars. Now we are talking about reforming election law.....finally.
The spending has to stop. The shit has to stop.

Personally I would like to see people get help out of social programs, America is a great nation built on Christian values. Problem is a lot of people are gaming the system so it makes it hard to get the help to the people that truly need it.
As far as education goes, we need it. There is a load of fat in the system that needs to be addressed. Could start with the school board and managment salaries. The guys that have not done their jobs for a very long time.
I do not mind paying my fair share in taxes, it is when I start paying someone elses share is when I cry foul.
