In any other year, the Wall Street Journal's coverage of the revolution in Egypt would have won the Pulitzer for Breaking News Reporting in a walk. But Chris Chivers and Bryan Denton are simply producing unbelievable journalism from the besieged city of Misurata. And in the same way that it's hard to ever again make fun of the French Army after reading about the colonial parachute regiments in Indochina and Algeria, I think I'll give the hapless rebels of eastern Libya a pass after reading about their hard cousins in Misurata.
P.S. Also, congratulations, Chris and Bryan: you guys get the award for best ever excuse for lack of Twitter updates: "The ongoing battle beside the building we are working in has made swift updates difficult. Please excuse the delays."
