Catherine Cloud

Development Coordinator

Catherine Cloud became Development Coordinator at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS) in July 2010. She helps coordinate the organization’s fundraising and donor outreach efforts. Previously, she was an intern at CNAS, also working in the organization’s development office.

Cloud graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a BA from the University of the Pacific, where she majored in International Relations and French Language and Literature. Her honors thesis examined the motivations behind countries’ compliance or non-compliance with the Hague Convention on the Protection of Children and Co-operation in Respect of Inter-Country Adoption.

Cloud has also studied at Universität Lüneburg in Lüneburg, Germany and Université de Nantes in Nantes, France. She is currently a graduate student in Georgetown University’s Security Studies Program.
