Liz Fontaine
Publications Manager
Liz Fontaine joined the Center for a New American Security as its Publications Manager in November 2009. She oversees the design and production of CNAS’ various reports and briefing papers.
She previously worked as a page designer and graphic artist at several newspapers, including The News Tribune and Kitsap Sun in Washington state. At The News Tribune, Fontaine designed numerous sections including the front page, local news, features and weekly entertainment magazine. Her design work has earned national aclaim for her in-depth graphic on breast cancer detection.
A native of Columbus, Ind., Mrs. Fontaine graduated with a bachelors of journalism from the University of Missouri. Mrs. Fontaine lives in Alexandria, Va. with her husband, Scott.
