August 15, 2008 — Aug 15 - While a ceasefire has been signed between Tbilisi and Moscow, Russian tanks continue on the move in Georgia. The simmering crisis over the rebel Georgian region of South Ossetia exploded last week when Georgia sent forces to try to retake the Russian-backed province, provoking a massive counter-attack by Moscow.
