Will Rogers is a Research Assistant at the Center for a New American Security. At CNAS, Will's primary research focus is for the Natural Security project. Prior to joining CNAS, Will was an intern with the Environmental Change and Security Program at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars where he frequently wrote on environmental security. Previously, he has served as a research intern with the Hudson Institute and is a former legislative intern with Senator Barbara Boxer. He has studied abroad at the University of Auckland, in Auckland, New Zealand, where he was a recipient of the 2007 Political Studies Senior Prize Scholarship. Will has a bachelor's degree in Political Science-International Relations from the University of California, San Diego, where he focused on U.S. national security and foreign policy.
