Azeem Edwin is a dual Masters of Global Policy and J.D. candidate at Texas Law, and The Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs (LBJ). Currently, Azeem serves as the president of the LBJ student body, a Brumley Fellow for national security, and vice president of the Southwest Region of the Black Law Students Association.

Azeem is originally from Humble, Texas. As a proud Texan, he takes great pleasure in having also completed his undergraduate degree in International Relations at the University of Texas. Before coming to professional school, Azeem worked as a social worker. His career in social work focused on the general homeless population, asylees and refugees.

During his time in professional school, Azeem has served as Co-Chair of the Policy Alliance of Communities of Color, a fellow at the Center for the Study of Race and Democracy, and a Barbara Jordan National Fellow. After graduation, Azeem is interested in practicing international law. His favorite restaurant is Waffle House.
