Intern, Asia-Pacific Security Program
Brittney Washington is a Joseph S. Nye, Jr. Research Intern for the Asia-Pacific Security Program at the Center for a New American Security.
Ms. Washington is a recent graduate of the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy, where she concentrated in International Security and Pacific Asia Studies. During her graduate school experience, she interned at the Carnegie-Tsinghua Center for Global Policy and conducted research on China’s nuclear deterrence strategy in the maritime domain as a Project on Nuclear Issues Scholar at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
Ms. Washington received her M.A. in Law & Diplomacy from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy, Tufts University and B.A. in Japanese Language & Culture at Georgetown University.
