Intern, Transatlantic Security Program
Jessica Kolbe is the Joseph S. Nye, Jr. Intern for the Transatlantic Security Program at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS).
Before joining CNAS, Ms. Kolbe was a Research Assistant at the College of William & Mary, where she performed qualitative research on U.S. relations with the Republic of Georgia for a professor’s upcoming book.
Ms. Kolbe is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in International Relations at the College of William & Mary and is expected to graduate in May 2018. She speaks French and spent a summer researching the phenomenon of smart cities in Montpellier, France. During the fall of 2017, Ms. Kolbe will be participating in a D.C.-based William & Mary program concentrated on national defense politics and budgeting.
