Intern, Executive Team
Margaret Bittle is the Joseph S. Nye, Jr. Intern for the Executive Team at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS).
Prior to joining CNAS, Ms. Bittle interned for the Center for Political-Military Analysis at the Hudson Institute. There she worked on research projects concerning national and international security topics including nonproliferation, the North Korean nuclear crisis, and the trilateral relationship between the United States, Russia, and China.
Ms. Bittle received her B.A. in International Studies with a concentration in Global Relations from North Carolina State University. During her undergraduate experience, she was selected to present her research on Japanese neo-nationalism at the NCSU Undergraduate Research Symposium of Spring, 2017. She had the opportunity to study international law for a semester at Nagoya University School of Law in Japan. There she was able to develop intermediate level fluency in Japanese.
