Shayan Rauf is a former Joseph S. Nye, Jr. Intern for the Defense Program at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS), where he focuses on great-power competition, wargaming, and U.S. defense strategy. He is currently pursuing his B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University. Shayan is proficient in five languages.
