Strengthening U.S.-Indonesia Defense Ties
As part of the Asia Strategy Series, Research Associate Alexander Sullivan examines the U.S.-Indonesia defense relationship. He notes that Indonesia should revise its defesne guidance to prioritize maritime and air forces, especially command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR). For the United States, Mr. Sullivan recommends undertaking broader initiatives to share expertise on building "software" of the defense enterprise.
