Australian Defense Minister Joel Fitzgibbon discusses U.S.-Australian Alliance
The Center for a New American Security hosts an evening address by Australian Defense Minister Joel Fitzgibbon on Thursday, April 9, 2009, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, in the Willard's Crystal Room. In light of the annual AUSMIN talks, Minister Fitzgibbon will discuss U.S.-Australian relations, specifically continued defense and foreign security cooperation. Following the speech there will be Q & A and a cocktail reception.
CNAS is honored to host Minister Fitzgibbon as part of the National Security Leaders Forum (NSLF), a platform for senior civilian and military leaders to address the Washington policy community and media on the most important national security issues of the day.
