Show Me the Crypto
Energy, Economics and Society Adjunct Senior Fellow Yaya J. Fanusie and Research Assistants Jason Bartlett and Emily Jin hosted an interactive choose-your-own-adventure style scenario following a fictitious South Korean cryptocurrency exchange and associated cybersecurity risks. Following every new development, the audience got to choose between two options which would result in different outcomes. Our expert panel then offered thoughts and insights on the voted options and associated developments, followed by a final evaluation of the outcome and its relevance to issues today. With each new decision, the audience learned more about the economic and national security implications related to innovations in financial technology.
