Trump Unlikely to Ever Commit Ground U.S. Forces to Iran, Expert Says
Top US officials, including the Defense Secretary, have said that sending US troops into Iran could not be ruled out. FRANCE 24's Mark Owen speaks with Daniel Schneiderman, CNAS adjunct senior fellow and Director of Global Policy Programs at Penn Washington. He says that US President Donald Trump is unlikely to ever commit ground forces to Iran because "there's a degree of ability to deny that the US is involved in a long-standing war during an air campaign".
