What Could Europe’s Loan to Ukraine Mean for Moscow?
The European Union has given a preliminary green light to unblock a $AU148 billion loan for Ukraine. Jim Townsend from the Center for a New American Security says the loan is bigger than what the US has given Kyiv and will be used in many ways including military and humanitarian aid. He also says the loan sends a signal to Russia that the EU are in it for the long haul.
