Threats, Lies, and Dirty Bombs
Power Vertical host Brian Whitmore speaks with Andrea Kendall-Taylor, director of the Transatlantic Security Program at the Center for a New American Security, who served eight years as a senior intelligence officer in the U.S. government, John Sipher, a 28-year veteran of the Central Intelligence Agency’s National Clandestine Service and a Nonresident Senior Fellow in the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center, and Jim Townsend, who served eight years as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for European and NATO Policy in the administration of former US President Barack Obama. They discuss the recent advances of Ukrainian forces and Russia's potential use of a dirty bomb, and growing concerns regarding US-Congress support towards Ukraine.
