Zoe Bedell is an attorney in the Washington, D.C., office of the law firm Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, as well as privacy and technology issues. Before joining the firm, Zoe clerked for Justice Elena Kagan of the U.S. Supreme Court and for then-Judge Brett Kavanaugh of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.

Prior to law school, Zoe served as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. She deployed twice to Afghanistan, where she was in Officer-in-Charge of the Marine Corps Female Engagement Team, whose mission focused on engaging with Afghan men and women in support of counterinsurgency operations. Since completing her active duty service, Zoe has advocated for equal opportunities for women in the military, including the repeal of the combat exclusion policy that prevented women from serving in combat jobs.

Zoe received her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she served on the Harvard Law Review and was a contributor to the national security law blog Lawfare. She graduated from Princeton University with an A.B. in Politics and minors in Near Eastern Studies and French. She also worked as a financial analyst at the New York investment bank Foros, where she specialized in mergers and acquisitions advisory work.
