Izaak serves as the Director of Programs and Communications for Globally, leveraging a strong background in media production and strategic management to build communities of impact. Outside of leading the flagship program, Young Professionals in Foreign Policy, Izaak is passionate about leading Globally's Public Policy New Voices Fellowship Program, being a first generation student and coming from underrepresented communities himself. Before joining Globally, Izaak worked in the brand management space, leading long-term innovation strategy and managing the day-to-day execution of a number of top consumer brands.

Izaak has over a decade of experience in media production, where he has leveraged these skills on Capitol Hill, the Minnesota State Capitol, and most recently at the State Department, working on strategic campaigns in Latin America. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2020 with a Master of Public Policy and a Master of Business Administration, along with a graduate minor in Restorative Justice Practices. His professional passions include advancing public diplomacy efforts abroad, creating a more diverse national security community, and working across cultures at the intersection of policy and business.
