Politico Morning Defense

 

The Center for a New American Security is releasing a new report this morning on the U.S. role to de-escalate the civil war in Syria. The report argues the U.S. primary effort there should focus on a “bottom-up strategy for building cohesive, moderate armed opposition institutions with a regional focus that is tailored for each individual region within Syria.”
