Budgeting is Warfighting

It was a big day at the Pentagon. Noah and the crew at Danger Room are all over the budget like white on rice, so if you're looking for a good round-up, you could do a lot worse than what he's offering here and here. Spencer, meanwhile, is declaring victory for the COINdinista crowd, but I think Gates has it about right when he says that all this means is that the irregular warfare crew now has a seat at the table. That's closer to the mark. (And to be fair, Spencer says as much.)
