Allow me to take a break for one moment from all my counterinsurgenting to highlight two worthy causes to which I am tied. The first is that I will be going for an early-morning run on Saturday with some members of my local rugby team for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. You can donate here. Second, that same local rugby team is running a casino night on 13 June that will benefit the Hoop Dreams Scholarship Fund. If you live in the DC area, paying $65 for an open bar and some ridiculous donated prizes is a great deal and benefits a worthy cause.
