Happy 232nd, Marines!

While Abu Muqawama observes Remembrance Day across the pond, Charlie will be celebrating the Marine Corps' 232nd birthday in our nation's capitol on Saturday. In honor of the event, the Marine Corps Times ran a feature highlighting 232 Reasons to Love your Marine Corps. (This blogger is partial to numbers 3, 44, 83, 138, and 217...but do they really need to be reminded?)

For Charlie's money, First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt said it best:

The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps!
