For a second there, during the initial outrage, soldiers thought they were going to be forced to wear suits of freaking armor into battle. Politicians were trying to out-do one another as to how much armor they could layer onto their constituent soldiers. Why there isn't widespread outrage over this in the UK, Abu Muqawama has no idea.
