RFI: Afghanistan

A close friend of the blog is putting together a course for tactical intelligence officers going to Afghanistan and needs the help of this blog's erudite and experienced readership:

1. If there were 60 pages (articles, chapters of books, blog posts, etc.) that you were going to read because you found out today that you deploy tomorrow to Afghanistan as a tactical intelligence officer, what would they be?
2. If you had time to read only one book prior to deploying to theater, what would it be?
3. What two internet resources besides Afghan Analyst should any intel officer consult before and while deployed to the country?
4. What two earth-shattering things are different for an intel officer working in Afghanistan and one who has a previous tour in Iraq?
