Tanter vs. Levitt on the MEK

Iran hawks in the U.S. can be a funny bunch, especially when they start arguing for terrorist groups opposed to the regime in Tehran to be de-listed as terror groups simply because they're the enemies of our enemies. Because the rest of the world certainly wouldn't see that as hypocritical in any way, shape or form. Oh no.

Or, maybe they would. Matt Levitt (too) politely points this out to Raymond Tanter on Harvard's Middle East Strategy blog.

This isn't the first time Raymond Tanter has been accused of carrying the MEK's water. (Though to be fair, he's only doing what plenty of New York and Boston politicians did for the IRA in the 1970s and 1980s.)
