Aaron Mehta is senior Pentagon correspondent and associate editor for Defense News, covering policy, strategy and acquisition at the Defense Department. He covered the Air Force and aerospace industry for Defense News from October 2012 to April 2015. He previously spent four years at the Center for Public Integrity, a nonprofit, investigative journalism organization where he covered the intersection of money and politics. A Bostonian and a graduate of Tufts University, he has had work featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and CNN, among other outlets.
