Research Assistant, Technology and National Security Program
Ainikki Riikonen is a Research Assistant for the Technology & National Security Program at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS).
Before joining CNAS, Ainikki worked at the Department of Defense’s Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies where she supported security cooperation programs for participants from North Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, and South Asia on regional security issues. Her previous internship experience includes researching nuclear and radiological programs for the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START).
Ainikki holds an M.A. (Hons.) in International Relations from the University of St Andrews.
