Intern, Military, Veterans, and Security Program
Emma Moore is the Joseph S. Nye, Jr. Research Intern for the Military, Veterans, and Security Program at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS).
Prior to joining CNAS, Emma served as Executive Assistant and Social Media Lead for Narrative Strategies, a coalition of scholars and military professionals working to combat violent extremism with strategic communication and narrative. Additionally, Emma worked as a Program Manager with ProVetus, a trained, peer-mentoring organization helping service members transition into civilian life, where she helped develop best practices for tracking mentors and mentees and streamlining the mentor-mentee relationship. She also interned at the US Naval War College's Center on Irregular Warfare and Armed Groups and Brown University's the Cost of War Project.
Emma earned a Master of Arts in War Studies from King's College London and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Brown University. She speaks Spanish and French.
