Broadening the Army Officer for a New Tomorrow

In February of 2010, during a conferenceon revitalizing America’s military officercorps, the Center for a New American Se-curity (CNAS), which is a WashingtonD.C.-based think tank, released a docu-ment stating that “to  respond effectivelyto complex challenges, the U.S. militarymust develop and maintain a high degreeof adaptability within the officer corps.”
