Research Areas

Hannah Dennis is a Research Assistant for the Defense Program at the Center for a New American Security. Before CNAS, Hannah worked as a research assistant for Dr. Thomas G. Mahnken while she pursued her master’s at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, concentrating in Strategic Studies and International Economics. As founder and co-president of the SAIS Wargaming Club, Hannah hosted expert panels and commercial games to foster community and engender enthusiasm among students for the wargaming field.

Before SAIS, Hannah interned in the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the Department of Commerce Bureau of Industry and Security while studying International Relations at American University.
