CNAS CEO Michele Flournoy Named to Wash100 for Leadership in Defense Research

Executive Mosaic, Tysons Corner, VA March 6, 2015 – Michele Flournoy, CEO of the Center for a New American Security, was selected to the Wash100 list of the most influential leaders in GovCon for her leadership role in defense research.

The Wash100 is the premier group of private and public sector leaders selected by Executive Mosaic’s organizational and editorial leadership as the most influential voices in the GovCon sector and recognized for their push to drive vision, innovation and achievement on behalf of American citizens.

Flournoy has been involved in defense policy making since the 1990s, serving as senior adviser to the Center for Strategic and International Studies and a professor at the National Defense University prior to joining public service and co-founding CNAS.
