CSBA Report "DoD's Full Spectrum Competition has limitation due to budget constraints"

The Center for New American Security (CNAS), a private research institute in Washington, analyzed on the 20th that the U.S. Department of Defense's approach with China and Russia in mind to compete for hegemony is vulnerable to the gray zone strategy of adversary countries and repelling armed aggression.

The report, titled 'High-Risk Operations: Future Strategies and Defense Force Options', builds on the latest defense budget proposal submitted to Congress by the Biden administration.

Following the previous Trump administration's 2018 Defense Security Strategy Report (NDS) , the report noted that the Biden administration also considered China and Russia as the top US threats in its interim national security guidelines released in March.
