In Beijing, French President Emmanuel Macron has urged his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping to reason with Russia, and help end the war in Ukraine. Together with European Union chief Ursula von der Leyen, they urged President Xi not to support the Russian invasion. What might come out of this?
