Noah Greene
Research Assistant, AI Safety and Stability Project
Research Areas
Noah Greene currently serves as the research assistant at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS) for the center’s cross-program initiative on artificial intelligence safety and stability. In this role, Noah works with four programs, along with the executive vice president and director of studies to ensure that all lines of effort run smoothly. His research agenda includes investigating the military applications of AI in the U.S., Europe, Russia, and China, along with the role of international institutions in emerging technology.
Prior to joining CNAS Noah worked as a teaching assistant in the Master of Arts in Public Policy & Administration program at Northwestern University. He assisted with course instruction, facilitated day-to-day administrative tasks, and supplemented the professor’s role in reviewing student assignments.
Noah's work has been published in Lawfare, Tech Policy Press, Encompass Europe, and others. Noah earned a Master of Arts in Public Policy & Administration from Northwestern University specializing in global policy. His research focused on foreign policy decision making, international negotiations, regional spheres of security, European affairs, and international institutions. Noah received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from The University of Alabama and currently serves as a Fellow for the Blackburn Institute at the university.
