Fourth Time’s a Charm? How Trump Could Push Netanyahu into Ending the Gaza War

As Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu prepares for his fourth White House visit in less than a year, he may be faced with a choice: Accept U.S. President Donald Trump's 21-point proposal to end the Gaza war, bring home the hostages and get back to expanding the Abraham Accords; or turn down the eager American president but hold together the current Israeli government.
Or Monday's meeting may just be another round of negotiations among seemingly friendly leaders who understand that each has his own politics and interests, therefore yielding little progress on a long-awaited deal.
Trump's new Gaza plan has a weak point: It clashes with Netanyahu's promises to his voters.
In an environment where President Trump's decision making process remains elusive, his conclusions unpredictable and his team of advisors small, it is nearly impossible to predict where his mind will be when Netanyahu walks into the Oval Office on Monday.
