CNAS 2017: Who Cares About Europe?: The Future of the West and Transatlantic Cooperation
America’s relationship with Europe and the institutions that underpin the rules-based order have been an integral part of U.S. foreign policy for the past 70 years. But that system and the United States’ relationship with Europe have been strained in recent years, leading some to conclude that future of the West now hangs in the balance.
