US-Iran War Risks Repeated Cycles of Fighting
Shifting US objectives and neither side able to secure a decisive military victory make a lasting resolution difficult and Bloomberg Economics Defense Lead and adjunct senior fellow at the Center for a New American Security Becca Wasser says risks the US-Iran conflict becoming a protracted war. Joining Joe Mathieu and Carol Massar on Bloomberg This Weekend, Wasser explains that repeated pauses could allow both sides to adapt and rearm, potentially expanding the conflict geographically and making direct US-Iran talks necessary for a durable settlement.
