Join our Make Room study session, Deep Dive: Think Tanks on Thursday, February 29 from 4:30–5:30 PM ET. The session will feature the following speakers:

  • Katherine Kuzminski, Deputy Director of Studies and Director of the Military, Veterans, and Society Program at the Center for a New American Security
  • Sam Bresnick, Research Fellow at the Center for Security and Emerging Technology
  • Anna Pederson, Digital Communications Officer at the Center for a New American Security
  • Martin Pimentel, Program Manager and Research Associate at Center for Strategic and International Studies.

The event will be moderated by Daniel Bonomo, Operations and Finance Associate at the Center for a New American Security.

The conversation will outline the different types of research think tanks—how they operate, the types of research and business roles available for young professionals, and the ways think tank professionals impact national security policy. Our panelists will address what daily work at a think tank looks like and highlight some of the benefits and drawbacks they have experienced working for their respective organizations.
