The Center for a New American Security (CNAS) hosted a discussion with Lieutenant General Michael T. Flynn, USA, Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, on Thursday, January 17, 2013. LTG Flynn discussed defense intelligence in a rapidly changing global environment, his strategic vision for the Defense Intelligence Agency and the future of intelligence partnerships.
LTG Flynn became the 18th Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency in July 2012. He previously served as the Assistant Director of National Intelligence for Partner Engagement.
The CNAS National Security Leaders Forum speaker series was established to provide a space for Republican, Democratic, civilian and military leaders to come together to develop new strategies to address the critical national security challenges facing the nation.
