Join the Center for a New American Security (CNAS) on Tuesday, September 16, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. ET for a live fireside chat with Adam Boehler, Special Envoy for Hostage Response, and Richard Fontaine, CEO of CNAS.
In his role, Boehler has successfully led efforts to secure the release of multiple hostages and detained Americans overseas. Having previously played a key role in advancing the Abraham Accords, his work spans complex diplomatic negotiations across the world and addresses some of the most challenging cases involving Americans held abroad against their will.
The discussion will cover Boehler’s strategy toward negotiations and dive into his role within the Trump administration to aid detained Americans.
