The Center for a New American Security (CNAS) hosted a virtual event, “Taiwan, Cross-Strait Relations, and an Evolving World," co-hosted by CNAS and The Prospect Foundation. The event featured official and expert remarks by speakers from the United States and Taiwan. The first panel covered the upcoming 20th Party Congress of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its implications for relations with the United States and Taiwan. The second panel focused on assessing the new post-pandemic political-economic order in the Indo-Pacific.
