On Wednesday, November 1, 2023 CNAS hosted a panel discussion to reflect on the one-year anniversary of the Biden Administration’s September 2022 Executive Order on Advancing Biotechnology and Biomanufacturing Innovation for a Sustainable, Safe, and Secure Bioeconomy.
The conversation focused on the national security implications of securing a robust U.S. bioeconomy, the remaining challenges to fully capture its potential, and the steps policymakers should take to strengthen American leadership across the biotech landscape.
