Amy Shuart is Vice President, Technology and Innovation at Business Roundtable. Before joining the Business Roundtable, Shuart was the Head of North America Government Affairs at Onfido, a global digital identity company using AI technology to remotely onboard and authenticate customers quickly and securely, where she launched their DC office. For over a decade, she worked for the Committee on Ways and Means, most recently as the Social Security Subcommittee Staff Director. She started her career as a Presidential Management Fellow at the Social Security Administration and has also worked at the Office of Management and Budget and the White House.

Shuart holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Public and Urban Affairs from Virginia Tech, and a Master of Public Affairs from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. In 2022, she was appointed to the Social Security Advisory Board by the House of Representatives for a six-year term.
