Communications Specialist

Chris Estep is the Communications Specialist at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS), where he coordinates the Center’s digital engagement and congressional relations efforts.

Estep holds a Master of Arts degree in Security Policy Studies from The George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs, where he concentrated in U.S. National Security. A graduate of Eastern Nazarene College (ENC) on Boston’s South Shore, Estep received a Bachelor of Arts in History and Religion. His thesis research focused on the intersection of President Harry Truman's Cold War-era diplomacy and midcentury popular religious sentiment in the United States.
