Kalena Blake

Research Areas

Kalena Blake is a research assistant at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS), where she conducts research on air and missile defense and strengthening deterrence.

She previously served as a Joseph S. Nye Jr. intern with CNAS’s Defense Program. Prior to joining CNAS, Blake worked in Deloitte’s Government and Public Services practice, supporting the U.S. Air Force on strategy and force planning related to great power competition.

Blake earned her BA with honors from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs, concentrating on international security and U.S. foreign policy. At Princeton, she served as managing editor of The Daily Princetonian and conducted research on U.S. foreign, misinformation, and energy security.
