Clare Toner

Clare Toner is a former Joseph S. Nye, Jr. Intern for Communications at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS).
Clare previously completed two internships at the U.S. Department of State, one in the Office of Public Engagement and one in the Office of Press Operations. She was also the Joseph S. Nye, Jr. Intern for Communications at CNAS during the summer of 2019.
Clare recently graduated from Syracuse University, where she studied International Relations, with a focus in International Security and Diplomacy, and Communications. While at Syracuse, Clare studied abroad in Wroclaw, Poland. She is proficient in French.
