Daniel Hack is the Joseph S. Nye, Jr. Intern for the Development Team at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS).
Daniel (Dan) is a rising Junior in the Science and Humanities Scholars Program at Carnegie Mellon University. He is double majoring in Technology and Public Policy, and Policy and Management and minoring in Mandarin Chinese. From New York State, Dan has been a part of a research team in NYU's Genetics Laboratory, as well as a part of the Genspace Brooklyn Synthetic Biology team. Dan founded an ed-tech startup company, Convertsation LLC, that is connecting diverse groups of students and fostering productive, safe, and technologically advanced conversations online. He hopes to research national security and policy upon graduation.
